Preservation Kentucky sponsors educational publications, provides technical resources and offers free webinars to assist Kentuckians with preserving, promoting and enjoying historic places throughout the Commonwealth.
We are very grateful to Kentucky Humanities for a 2020 CARES Act Grant, which helped us sustain operations to provide educational materials and technical resources to Kentuckians on historic preservation, historic rehabilitation tax credits, endangered historic buildings, neighborhood and downtown revitalization, heritage tourism, Kentucky history and other topics relevant to preserving Kentucky’s tangible heritage.
The Kentucky Humanities CARES Act Grant was made possible through funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities as part of the $2.2 million CARES Act economic stabilization plan appropriated by the 116th U. S. Congress.
Preservation Kentucky was honored to be among the 85 Kentucky organizations that were the first to receive the emergency funds.
We are very appreciative of Kentucky Humanities and National Endowment for the Humanities for their generous support!
